It’s not the camera that takes the picture, alright. But sometimes, the idiosyncrasy of your gear may help or hinder a successful photograph. Most of the time, when I refer to a particular brand or dealer, it’s just what I happen to use, because it turned out to work for me. Sometimes, however, a decision—one way or the other—may lead to success or failure. In hopes that someone may profit from prior experiences that lead me one way or the other, I’ll be reporting on these experiences here.
